Author Biography

  • Huigen Leeflang

    Huigen Leeflang is curator of prints at the Rijksmuseum print room. He publishes on sixteenth- and seventeenth-century drawing and printmaking and has worked on various exhibitions and catalogues including Hendrick Goltzius: Drawings, Prints and Paintings (2003); Romeyn de Hooge. De verbeelding van de late Gouden Eeuw (2008), Lucas van Leyden en de renaissance (2011) and Jacob Cornelisz van Oostsanen – de eerste Hollandse meester (2014). As an editor he is involved in the productionof several volumes of New Hollstein: Dutch & Flemish Etchings, Engravings and Woodcuts.
