Author Biographies

Ludo van Halem

Ludo van Halem is the Rijksmuseum's curator of twentieth-century art. He is jointly responsible for the Twentieth Century Department in the New Rijksmuseum. As a member of the Netherlands Art Review Working Group he is currently researching the creation of the modern art canon in post-war Dutch art criticism.

Harm Stevens

Harm Stevens is a curator in the Department of History at the Rijksmuseum. He is jointly responsible for the Twentieth Century Department in the New Rijksmuseum.
