Author Biography

  • Menno Jonker

    Menno Jonker is currently working on his dissertation on the representation of classical philosophers in seventeenth-century Netherlandish art within the European context. He studied Art History at Nijmegen University, specializing in early modern art. Other areas of interest include early modern investigation and exchange of classical, natural-historical, and ethnographical collections. Given his interest in the development of modern media, he is currently involved in a digital project for designing a virtual museum.
