Author Biographies

Panda de Haan

Panda de Haan is an art historian who was a trainee curator at the Rijksmuseum in 2009-10. She is studying for an MA in museum curating at the University of Amsterdam, and is currently working on a research and registration project about the Rijksmuseum’s 20th-century prints and drawings.

Ludo van Halem

Ludo van Halem is the Rijksmuseum’s curator of 20th-century art. He researched Miró’s reception in the Netherlands for Picasso, Klee, Miró and Modern Art in the Netherlands 1948-1956 (2006). He is a member of the Netherlands Art Review Working Group and is currently working on a book about the creation of the modern art canon in post-war Dutch art criticism.
