• Bert W. Meijer

  Bert W. Meijer is a former director of the Nederlands Interuniversitair Kunsthistorisch Instituut in Florence and emeritus extraordinary professor at the University of Utrecht. He organizes exhibitions and publishes on Italian, Dutch and Flemish painting and drawing of the Renaissance and the Baroque, and on how they relate. He heads the project Repertorium of Dutch and Flemish Paintings in Itahan Public Ownership, of which the volume on Piemonte will appear shortly. He is currently preparing an exhaustive study of Venetian draughtsmen active between 1590 and 1630.
