Author Biography

  • Hinde Haest

    Hinde Haest is a Project Employee in the Rijksmuseum photography department. She is currently working on an exhibition of twentieth-century photographs in the Rijksmuseum collection, opening at the end of 2014. She joined the Rijksmuseum in 2012 as a researcher for the Rijksmuseum series Studies in  Photography. Before that she worked as an editor for Metropolis M, and assisted in the conceptualization
    of the exhibition Everything Was Moving: Photography from the 60s and 70s at the Barbican Art Gallery in London. As a freelance author she has worked for various magazines. She studied Liberal Arts and Sciences at University College Utrecht and obtained an MA in Material and Visual Culture from University College London and an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
