Jacques-Louis David’s ‘Thrones’ Identified

Femke Diercks studied art history at the University of Groningen, where she gained her degree with a study of the Backer Foundation Collection (on loan to the Amsterdam Museum). She worked for two years as a junior curator at the Rijksmuseum, where she was involved with the publication of the collection of French decorative arts. Since August 2011 she has been working as a junior curator of decorative arts at Museum De Lakenhal in Leiden. She joined the Rijksmuseum as a junior curator of ceramics and glass on 1 February 2012.
