Author Biography

  • Frédérique ter Brugge-Drielsma

    Frédérique ter Brugge-Drielsma completed her bachelor’s degree in Art History and master’s in the History of Architecture at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2013 and 2015 respectively. She wrote her MA thesis on the history of the Beuning Room in the Rijksmuseum from 1745 to 2015. After studying at the hotel school in Maastricht, she began her career in the financial sector as marketing manager at organizations including ABN AMRO and ROBECO. In 2001 she set up the art enterprise Dutch Collection in London. Back in the Netherlands, she focused on curating exhibitions and publishing monographs. She is currently executive director of the Amsterdam Light Festival.
