Author Biographies

• Dirk Jan Biemond

  Dirk Jan Biemond studied art history in Leiden, and has been a curator of the Rijksmuseum’s metal work department since 2002. He is currently working on a catalogue of the museum’s collection of Dutch silver.

• Pieter Roelofs

  Pieter Roelofs is the Rijksmuseum curator of seventeenth-century Dutch painting.

• Eveline Sint Nicolaas

  Eveline Sint Nicolaas is a curator of history at the Rijksmuseum. Her areas of interest include overseas relations with the West, the Dutch
  presence in the Levant and the collection of arms and armour. She was involved with the presentation about the eighteenth century in the Rijksmuseum

• Ludo van Halem

  Ludo van Halem is a curator of twentieth-century art at the Rijksmuseum. He is jointly responsible for the Twentieth Century Department in the Rijksmuseum.
