A New Attribution of a Bust of the Holy Virgin to Enrico Merengo

Maichol Clemente graduated in Art History at the Università Ca’ Foscari in Venice and is currently continuing his study of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Venetian art at the Università degli Studi di Udine. From 2010 to 2013 he worked at the art historical institute of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini di Venezia. His research is concerned with the decorative arts and sculpture of the Venetian Baroque. He is now working with Simone Guerriero and Monica De Vincenti on a catalogue raisonné of the work of the Flemish sculptor Giusto Le Court.
