• Iris Ippel

  Iris Ippel studied Art History at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Her main interests lie in the late Middle Ages and Early Renaissance. She is concerned not just with an object but with the stories that surround it: its social history, its reception and workshop practices. During her internship at the Rijksmuseum she undertook research into the late Gothic Christmas crib and the modelli by Artus Quellinus for the Amsterdam town hall.
