• Laura Roscam Abbing

  Laura Roscam Abbing is a freelance cultural history researcher of the Netherlands’ built heritage, particularly nineteenth- and twentiethcentury interiors. She studied art history at Radboud University Nijmegen, restoration sciences, a master’s degree in heritage studies and a research master’s degree in art studies at the University of Amsterdam (until 2011). In 2012 the Manfred and Hanna Heitingfonds funded her research into Jacob Olie Jr’s interiors on autochromes (early colour photographs) for the Rijksmuseum. She wrote Een herenhuis vol ornamenten 1880-1920, a book that was published in 2012.
