• Simone Bretz

  Simone Bretz is a private conservator based near Munich, Germany. Since 1985 she has specialized in the conservation and restoration of reverse paintings on glass, and has acquired a unique knowledge of the painting technology and published on the subject. She has worked for a number of major museums and private collections in Europe and the United States and contributed her expertise to research projects both in Germany and abroad (see also www.bretz-hinterglas.com).
